About this role
USAA is hiring an Associate Creative Director (Writer) to help develop and execute the creative vision across campaigns and projects. This role leads creative teams, provides day-to-day creative direction, and ensures work meets creative and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the creative vision and project quality standards
- Oversee tactics for creative platforms and concepts
- Provide day-to-day creative direction across multiple campaigns and projects
- Partner with marketing partners to deliver on time, on budget, on brief
- Lead onboarding curriculum and advocate creative best practices/tools/processes
Technical Overview
The position focuses on writer/copy work and broader creative leadership, including idea platform and concept development, creative trends/technology research, and user-centered/digital design knowledge. It also involves onboarding curriculum creation and applying creative best practices and processes.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a creative leader with 8+ years of experience in creative development, design, copy, production, and/or media planning. They can execute a strong creative vision, lead teams to develop idea platforms and creative concepts, and direct multiple campaigns while meeting creative and brand standards.
