About this role
Senior field-based Medical Science Liaison role focused on immuno-oncology in the West Territory. You will educate healthcare providers, build KOL relationships, support investigator-sponsored studies, and ensure alignment with Immunocore's medical strategy while traveling up to 60%.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains knowledge of immuno-oncology and disease areas
- Acts as educational resource to internal stakeholders and external audiences
- Maintains relationships with KOLs to expand research and advisory opportunities
- Identifies key field insights and disseminates with cross-functional partners
- Leads congress symposiums and other educational programs
Technical Overview
Role centers on medical education, scientific communications, and external partnerships (KOLs, advisory boards, investigator meetings) with emphasis on GCP/compliance and trial-related activities; no software stack involved.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior level MSL with 3+ years in immuno-oncology/oncology, an advanced MD/PhD/PharmD degree, and a proven track record of engaging KOLs, delivering medical education, and coordinating investigator-sponsored studies within a remote West Territory. This role requires strong scientific communication, high ethical standards, and the ability to travel up to ~60% to meet field needs.
