About this role
DTCC is seeking an Associate Director Platform Engineering leader to design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes/OpenShift-based container infrastructure. The role focuses on delivery improvements through GitOps and CI, plus operational excellence for monitoring, logging, alerting, and Kubernetes security.
Key Responsibilities
- Create the OpenShift container infrastructure platform
- Coordinate with other infrastructure teams to meet goals
- Enhance delivery systems with Continuous Integration through GitOps processes
- Improve monitoring and alert system
- Troubleshoot issues and solve problems where needed
Technical Overview
You will create and evolve an OpenShift container infrastructure platform, coordinating with infrastructure teams to deliver improvements using Continuous Integration with GitOps processes. Responsibilities include Kubernetes operational monitoring/logging/alerting setup and enforcing Kubernetes security best practices such as RBAC, network, and pod security policies.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Kubernetes/OpenShift engineer who can design and operate container infrastructure in a hybrid DTCC environment. They have strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes security (RBAC and pod security policies), monitoring/logging/alerting, and CI/CD-style delivery using GitOps and Continuous Integration.
