About this role

This role supports IT Operations technologies including Host, Distributed, Network, Voice, and Print Center Operations. The associate resolves incidents, executes changes (installations, upgrades, reconfigurations, repairs, and re-cabling), and provides strong customer service across IT and business customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support at least one product and/or tool in Host/Distributed/Network/Voice/Printing environments
  • Resolve incidents and issues across Host, Distributed, Network, Voice, Tape and/or Output Processing
  • Execute changes including product database administration, hardware/software installations, upgrades, removals, reconfigurations, repairs and/or re-cabling
  • Provide quality customer service to IT Operations and business customers
  • Escalate incidents/problems when necessary and assist senior team members on complex issues

Technical Overview

The technical scope includes incident and issue resolution in Host, Distributed, Network, Voice, Tape, and Output Processing environments. It also includes performing operational changes with product database administration and hands-on hardware/software installation and repair activities, potentially within a 24/7 operations model.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of technical experience supporting Host, Distributed, Network, and/or Voice technologies in an operations environment. They are comfortable resolving incidents, executing infrastructure/system changes (including installations and upgrades), and providing high-quality IT customer service, with readiness for 24/7 scheduling and potential on-call support.
