About this role
This role designs and develops business intelligence dashboards and data analytics solutions to assess operational risk. It also supports automated control testing and risk-based sampling, transforming manual processes into repeatable automated workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop business intelligence dashboards and data analytics solutions for operational risk
- Build automated control testing programs and risk-based sampling approaches
- Transform manual processes into automated reporting and analytics solutions
- Collaborate on functional specification reviews, test plans, and testing signoffs
- Provide pre and post implementation support including dashboard maintenance and user education
Technical Overview
The job centers on SQL, Python, and R for quantitative analysis and automated scripts, along with Excel automation via VBA and Power Query. It requires building and maintaining Tableau, Power BI, and IBM Cognos risk reporting BI applications in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment using Jira and Microsoft Project.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in Quantitative Management, Information Systems, or a related field and 6 months of experience in a closely related analyst role. They are proficient in SQL, Python, and R, can build Tableau/Power BI/IBM Cognos risk reporting dashboards, and understand Agile/Scrum delivery plus automated control testing and risk-based sampling for operational risk assessment.
