About this role

Associate Merchant with Frontgate will support both the creation and execution of product development and assortment strategies, driving growth through cross-functional collaboration and vendor partnerships. The role requires evaluating performance, aligning with financial goals, and delivering a differentiated home and lifestyle assortment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Merchant in driving the assortment strategy by influencing decisions at every stage of the product lifecycle
  • Support Merchant in the development and execution of business strategy
  • Develop an understanding of the connection between financial strategies and related merchandise goals for their areas
  • Works cross-functionally to align on key collection/items strategy, executes both preseason and in season strategy in collaboration with Planning and Sourcing
  • Partner with Design throughout product development and may develop product directly with vendor partners
