The Boeing Company seeks an Associate Software Engineer (Developer) to support the P-8A Acoustic Programs in Huntington Beach. The role focuses on non-embedded software development for aircraft-based underwater sensor monitoring and related systems.

Key Responsibilities

Designs, develops, tests, and maintains non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets standards
Translates customer requirements into software design
Develops architectures and interfaces
Debugs and resolves issues
Supports software processes and metrics

Technical Overview

Stack includes C/C++, Java, Python on Linux, with Agile practices; familiarity with Atlassian tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud/container tooling is expected.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an entry-level software engineer with 2+ years of experience and a foundation in C/C++, Java, and Python, plus Linux. They should hold an active Secret clearance and be adaptable to defense/aerospace software environments.
