About this role
This role supports unified communications telephony and related services (voice, video, fax) for a healthcare facility. The associate engineer performs routine move/add/change requests, troubleshoots network and communications issues, and assists with deployment of telephony endpoints and voice mail support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide routine unified communications telephony support for voice and video systems
- Process move/add/change requests including dial plan and dial route pattern programming
- Troubleshoot and maintain telephony infrastructure for fax machines and unified communications endpoints
- Support Voice Mail (Unity Connections) for routine user requests
- Maintain unified communication architecture diagrams and document requirements and corrective actions
Technical Overview
Core technical scope includes unified communications telephony programming (dial plans and dial route patterns), Unity Connections voice mail support, fax service support, and maintenance of telephony infrastructure and cabling plant infrastructure. Work also includes troubleshooting network performance factors and maintaining architecture diagrams and documentation.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level unified communications associate engineer who can perform routine telephony support, including Move/Add/Change requests and telephone programming for dial plans and dial route patterns. They are comfortable troubleshooting Unity Connections voice mail, fax services, cabling plant infrastructure, and coordinating requirements with customers and senior engineers.
