The Assistant Store Manager supports store operations with a customer-first focus, assisting the Store Manager with employee supervision, scheduling, training, merchandising, and paperwork. The role also includes hands-on responsibilities such as stocking and cashiering, inventory accuracy, and protecting company assets through cash and key control.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service leadership (cash register/scanner)
- Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week
- Assist with employee scheduling, training, safety meetings, and compliance
- Manage merchandise execution (receiving through rotating/displaying) and planograms
- Maintain financial integrity through cashier/key control, security practices, refunds/overrides, tills counting, and bank deposits
