About this role
As an ADESA auction driver, you will help move vehicles through the auction lanes every Friday morning. The role emphasizes safe driving, correct staging and parking of vehicles, and immediate reporting of breakdowns, maintenance needs, and driving incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive vehicles across the block following safety guidelines
- Safely move, stage, and park vehicles in the correct lot area
- Advise supervisor or lane captain of breakdowns and maintenance needs immediately
- Immediately report driving related incidents including traffic citations, warnings, accidents, or mechanical problems
- Ensure company safety policies and procedures are followed at all times
Technical Overview
This position involves operational driving on auction grounds, including following safety guidelines such as seatbelt use and using park or neutral at stops. It also requires basic computer skills and accurate incident reporting to supervisors.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level auction driver available every Friday morning who has a clean driving record, a valid driver's license, and basic computer skills.
