About this role

Carvana is hiring an Experienced Auto Technician to perform full-range automotive repairs and diagnostics on all makes and models. The role covers everything from light maintenance to heavy engine work, including advanced electrical repairs for electric and hybrid vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general to complex repairs on all makes and models including timing belts and suspension systems
  • Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues including electric and hybrid vehicles
  • Complete repairs for wheel bearings and axles
  • Repair climate control systems including ACs and heater cores
  • Work mandatory overtime based on business needs

Technical Overview

You will diagnose and repair mechanical and advanced electrical issues, including timing belts, suspension systems, heavy engine work, wheel bearings, axles, and climate control systems (AC and heater cores). The environment includes state-of-the-art tools in Carvana Inspection Centers with mandatory overtime as business needs require.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an experienced automotive mechanic with 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience, strong diagnostics ability, and hands-on experience with electrical systems on electric and hybrid vehicles. They can perform both light maintenance and complex repairs (including engine work) and are comfortable working in Carvana Inspection Centers with readiness for mandatory overtime.
