About this role
Carvana is hiring an auto mechanic/experienced auto technician for post-production work in an inspection center environment. The role focuses on diagnosing and completing repairs across many vehicle systems to prepare inventory for customers, with occasional mandatory overtime based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general to complex automotive repairs and heavy engine work; Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues (electric and hybrid); Repair wheel bearings and axles; Repair climate control systems including ACs and heater cores; Work mandatory overtime based on business needs
Technical Overview
Perform general to complex automotive repairs and diagnostics on all makes and models, including timing belts, suspension systems, heavy engine work, advanced electrical issues (electric and hybrid vehicles), and reconditioning repairs such as wheel bearings/axles and climate control systems (AC and heater cores).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience and is strong in automotive diagnostics and general-to-complex repairs. They can troubleshoot advanced vehicle electrical issues, including repairs for electric and hybrid vehicles, and complete reconditioning tasks like wheel bearings/axles and climate control (AC and heater cores) work.
