About this role

Carvana is seeking a Line Lead for Post Production to supervise hourly associates in an inspection center. The role is accountable for managing workflow, achieving production and quality targets, coaching team performance, and ensuring correct repair/reject decisions based on defect review and cost/quality considerations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage car movement in and out of the inspection center safely; Meet daily/weekly/monthly inventory production goals; Oversee day-to-day team activities and performance management; Review and approve mechanical and physical defects for incoming inventory; Train teams using Quality Control standards and lead repair or reject decisions based on cost and vehicle quality

Technical Overview

Lead inspection-center production operations for post-production reconditioning, using Carvana Certified 150-point inspection process concepts and Quality Control standards. Review mechanical and physical defects, train teams for first-time correct repairs, and reduce re-checks and production delays while meeting inventory production goals.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on line lead with experience supervising hourly associates in an automotive reconditioning/inspection center setting. They can drive production targets and quality goals, review mechanical/physical defects, and coach teams using Quality Control standards to ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time.
