Diagnose, repair, and calibrate autonomous vehicle systems to support safe and reliable fleet operation. The role performs advanced mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, sensor and compute validation, and field testing with engineering and operations teams.

  • Perform complex mechanical and electrical diagnostics and repairs on AV powertrain, braking, suspension, and high-voltage systems
  • Calibrate and validate sensors including LiDAR, radar, camera arrays, GPS units, and IMUs
  • Install, configure, and replace AV components such as compute modules, communication units, wiring harnesses, and networking equipment
  • Support software deployments and log reviews for firmware and hardware performance feedback
  • Conduct on-road and closed-course AV testing with real-time troubleshooting and documentation

They are strong in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and have hands-on experience with sensor systems like LiDAR, radar, and camera arrays plus AV compute hardware.
