About this role

Lead Pacific Life’s enterprise Data Governance capability by setting direction, implementing operating models, and driving ongoing governance operations. You will manage teams focused on data governance and data quality and ensure compliance and metadata/lineage deliverables across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Set direction and vision for enterprise Data Governance
Establish and lead the enterprise-wide PL Data Governance function
Define data governance framework, policies, standards, and controls
Define DQ Monitoring Framework and enforce data quality metrics and remediation
Deliver metadata including data catalogues, lineage, dictionaries and glossaries (Collibra)

Technical Overview

Ownership of enterprise-wide governance for metadata, data quality monitoring and remediation, and data lifecycle management, with delivery accountable for catalogues, lineage, dictionaries, and glossaries using Collibra. Partner with data architecture and delivery teams to implement governance policies and metadata/quality monitoring and alerting solutions.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an executive-level data governance leader with strong experience establishing enterprise data governance frameworks, operating models, and ongoing data quality management. They have led metadata delivery (data catalogues, lineage, dictionaries, and glossaries) and partnered with data architecture and delivery teams to operationalize governance across global business domains.
