Key Responsibilities
- Engage at the CXO level and with software developers and IT architects
- Develop and execute a territory coverage plan and drive quarterly revenue targets
- Grow AWS footprint within assigned accounts and increase market share
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and ensure customer satisfaction
- Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption
Technical Overview
The technical scope is go-to-market selling for Amazon Web Services, including developing value propositions around AWS services and working with software developers and IT architects to accelerate cloud adoption. Execution centers on territory planning, multi-account management, and partner-enabled reach.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior, technically fluent account manager who can drive AWS revenue by engaging CXO-level stakeholders and IT architects. They will manage multiple accounts strategically, build and execute territory coverage plans, maintain a strong sales pipeline, and consistently meet quarterly revenue and customer adoption goals in a hybrid field-sales model.
