About this role
Senior/Lead Azure DevOps engineer role on a Cloud Consulting Services team delivering transformative Azure solutions for customers. You will lead engagements, act as a primary technical point of contact, and help customers leverage Azure through automation, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer engagements to drive transformative cloud solutions
- Provide expert technical consulting on Azure services (compute, AI, serverless, networking)
- Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation using Terraform or Azure Resource Manager
- Establish/guide CI/CD practices using GitHub and DevOps practices
- Mentor and coordinate Azure technical resources and support delivery success
Technical Overview
Serve as a technical consultant focused on Azure compute, AI, serverless, and networking with a strong emphasis on IaC (Terraform or Azure Resource Manager). Support CI/CD toolchains using GitHub and scripting with Python and PowerShell, and optionally contribute to Azure AI solutions using Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Services.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior/lead Azure DevOps engineer who can lead customer engagements and serve as a primary point of contact for Azure initiatives. They have hands-on experience designing and scripting infrastructure solutions, strong Azure architecture and deployment experience, and familiarity with IaC (Terraform or Azure Resource Manager), CI/CD toolchains like GitHub, and scripting with Python and PowerShell.
Must-Have Skills
Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of studyminimum of four years working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.In lieu of degreeminimum of six years related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.
