About this role

Azure Infrastructure Lead responsible for the design, migration, and operational excellence of enterprise Azure infrastructure for customers of a Microsoft Solutions Partner. This hands-on leadership role combines architecture, delivery, and customer engagement to optimize security, reliability, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of Azure infrastructure
Plan/execute on-premises to Azure migrations
Design high availability, DR and BC architectures with Landing Zones
Implement security and governance (RBAC, PIM, AAD/Entra ID, NSGs, Defender)
Oversee operations, automation and DevOps practices

Technical Overview

Focus on designing and implementing Azure infrastructure (VMs, VNets, peering, load Balancers, firewall, Application Gateway), migrating to Azure (Azure Migrate), and establishing governance via Azure Policy, RBAC, PIM, and Defender for Cloud within CAF-aligned Landing Zones and Well-Architected practices.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior Azure infrastructure lead with 8+ years of hands-on experience designing, migrating, and operating enterprise Azure environments. This candidate excels at leading delivery teams, engaging with customers, and balancing security, performance, and cost optimization within a CAF-aligned, Well-Architected framework.
