Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer to design, deploy, and operate enterprise-scale VDI solutions on Microsoft Azure, guiding architecture, migration, and steady-state operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide customers through planning and adoption of AVD solutions
- Lead design sessions on host pool strategy and end-user experience
- Advise on identity integration and security controls
- Design FSLogix profile strategies
- Collaborate with Microsoft teams and customers
Technical Overview
Stack includes AVD host pools, FSLogix, Azure Files/NetApp Files, Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, Zero Trust, Defender for Endpoint; IaC with ARM/Bicep/Azure CLI; identity and networking integration; large-scale customer deployments.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior AVD/Azure infrastructure engineer with 10-15 years of experience, hands-on AVD deployment at scale, migration design, and strong customer-facing leadership in MSP/partner environments.
Must-Have Skills
10 – 15 years of experience in virtual desktop infrastructure or Azure infrastructurehands-on knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop in enterprise environmentsexperience guiding customers through AVD architecturemigration strategyand steady-state optimizationstrong host poolssession hostsFSLogixidentity-driven accessand Azure networking fundamentalsFamiliarity with partner/MSP/consulting environmentsexcellent communication skillsexperience with Windows 365 positioning is a plus
