About this role
Bankruptcy Escalations Specialist acts as the centralized operation point to monitor cases, dockets, and client portals; identify risks, coordinate timely escalations, and protect deadlines without owning routine drafting.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor shared bankruptcy inboxes, court notifications, trustee communications, and client portals for new activity, errors, or time-sensitive issues
- Perform daily docket reviews to identify new filings, orders, notices, or events requiring action or escalation
- Track aged or stalled steps across active cases; flag risks and coordinate resolution
- Own the escalation process: route issues to the correct owner, confirm acceptance, and track through resolution
- Provide daily or periodic summaries of risks, exceptions, and resolved issues to Bankruptcy leadership
Technical Overview
Experience with case management systems, PACER/ECF, and client portals; able to track ages and anomalies; strong communication with courts and clients

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented legal operations professional with 2-4+ years in bankruptcy support, capable of monitoring dockets and client portals and coordinating escalations across intake, analysts, and counsel.
