About this role
Behavioral Health Worker provides daily patient care under supervision at Midwest Center for Youth and Families, delivering DBT-informed behavioral health programming for youth ages 10-18 and coordinating safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in ongoing assessment of safety & emotional needs of each patient
- Implement elements of treatment plan and identified interventions
- follow clinical and unit programming, documentation as required
- DBT skills coaching with patients
- basic group facilitation
Technical Overview
Clinical duties include DBT coaching, group facilitation, safety/emotional needs assessment, and documentation to support treatment plans in a residential psychiatric setting.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a compassionate behavioral health worker with DBT exposure and 0-1 year psychiatric setting experience, able to support 40 hours per week in Indiana within a residential youth program.
