About this role
This BI Business Analyst role transforms manufacturing and operational data into actionable insights for aerospace programs. You will gather requirements, build and maintain reporting solutions across platforms, and manage governance and administration for reporting access and privacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, optimize, and enhance Databricks, Power BI, and SQL-based reporting solutions
- Build and maintain data pipelines and reporting infrastructure
- Manage governance and administration including user access, security controls, and data privacy requirements
- Create and maintain documentation and provide technical assistance for reporting errors and data issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders using change management and structured delivery approaches to implement report changes
Technical Overview
The technical stack centers on Databricks, Power BI, SQL, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), and Microsoft ecosystem tools like PowerApps and Power Automate. You will also build data pipelines, support ETL within Microsoft SQL, and use Python knowledge as needed while ensuring reporting governance, security controls, and data privacy.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of experience in IT analysis and building report solutions using Power BI, SQL, and SSRS, with strong experience managing reporting governance and user access controls. They have worked with cloud data platforms such as Databricks (preferred), can build data pipelines and ETL (ETL within Microsoft SQL), and have Python knowledge to support technical analysis.
