About this role
KBR is seeking a Big Data Systems Engineer to deploy and integrate CHEETAS within DoD testing ranges and customer environments. The role serves as the frontline interface for customers and requires coordination with system administrators and software developers to resolve deployment issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and integrate CHEETAS within customer environments
- Collaborate with system administrators and software developers to communicate, document, and resolve deployment issues
- Deploy CHEETAS across disparate DoD testing Ranges and acquisition program environments
- Support Big Data (BD) and Knowledge Management (KM) systems deployment for DoD testing
- Operate deployments where environments may be in DoD vaults with no outside internet connectivity
Technical Overview
This position focuses on the deployment and integration of Big Data (BD) and Knowledge Management (KM) systems centered around the Cloud Hybrid Edge-to-Enterprise Evaluation Test & Analysis Suite (CHEETAS). Work spans multiple DoD ranges and acquisition programs, including disconnected DoD vault environments and non-standard hardware stacks integrated into existing ecosystems.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Big Data Systems Engineer who can deploy and integrate CHEETAS (Cloud Hybrid Edge-to-Enterprise Evaluation Test & Analysis Suite) into DoD testing ranges and customer environments. They hold an active TS/SCI Security Clearance and are comfortable working in disconnected DoD vault environments with non-standard hardware stacks.
