About this role
BIM Operator for VECA Electric & Technologies performing REVIT/3D modeling, shop drawings, and electrical coordination with other trades on fast-track projects.
50-58hrs/week; post-offer drug test and background checks required.
Key Responsibilities
- REVIT/3D modeling of electrical gear/lighting/components based on submittal data
- Assembly creation
- Creation of fabrication shop drawings
- Sheet, view and schedule creation for shop drawings
- Electrical Coordination with other trades (MEP)
Technical Overview
Heavy BIM workload including Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam and APL; electrical construction BIM coordination; long hours and QA/QC emphasis.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a BIM professional with strong Revit/Navisworks/AutoCAD experience and a minimum of 2 years in 3D modeling, comfortable with fast-track project schedules and BIM coordination for electrical construction projects.

Experience with Revit (2020-Current)AutoCADNavisworksExcel and Bluebeam – 2 years minUse of Autodesk Point Layout (APL)3D Modeling Experience – 2 years minGreat Communication skills with a positive attitude.Attention to detail during review of drawings and modelsKnowledge of BIM (in Electrical Construction is preferred) and how it can be utilized to the End User’s benefit.Ability to fluctuate workflow to coincide with fast-track project schedulesProject schedule is 50-58hrs/weekDrug testing and a background check are performed before employment is solidified. Random drug testing will continue throughout your employment.
