About this role
The Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) provides ABA services under the supervision of a BCBA. The role involves assessments, contributing to treatment plans and BIPs, collecting/analyzing data, and supporting RBTs and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide behavior-analytic services in home, clinic, and community settings
- Assist with treatment plans, assessments, and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress
- Support & supervise RBTs with feedback and training
- Maintain ethical, high-quality ABA practices
Technical Overview
This role is centered on applied behavior analysis workflows: creating/assisting treatment plans and BIPs, collecting and analyzing client progress data, and using ABA data platforms such as Motivity and Aloha (preferred). It also involves maintaining ethical documentation and potentially Michigan Medicaid/insurance documentation (preferred).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a BCaBA who holds an active BCaBA certification (BACB) and has at least 6+ months of experience working with autism or developmental disabilities. They can provide behavior-analytic services, help develop BIPs, collect and analyze data, and support/supervise RBTs under a BCBA. They are strong in communication and able to work ethically with families and teams.
