About this role
D.R. Horton is hiring a Build To Rent (BTR) Disposition Analyst to support the monetization of BTR investments. The role analyzes disposition timing and valuation inputs, coordinates due diligence review, and maintains disposition tracking and monthly reporting for BTR projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop disposition strategies for BTR investments
- Determine optimal sell timing and forecast quarterly sales goals
- Review broker opinion of values and validate pro forma/projected valuation prior to marketing launch
- Support disposition process (broker selection, offering materials accuracy, marketing, closing)
- Maintain disposition summary, monthly dashboard, and disposition tracker with key dates and broker info
Technical Overview
This role is analytics-focused, leveraging advanced Excel financial modeling to forecast sell timing and sales goals and to review broker opinions, pro forma, and projected valuations. It also requires organized due diligence management using a shared data room and ongoing reporting via monthly dashboards and disposition trackers.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level analyst with 1 to 3 years of experience in commercial real estate, private equity, or investment banking. They are highly proficient in advanced Excel financial modeling (including pivot tables and conditional formatting) and can support BTR investment monetization by forecasting sales timing, reviewing broker opinions and pro forma valuations, and managing due diligence and disposition tracking.
