About this role
ASRC Federal Vistronix is hiring a fully remote Business Analyst to define and document business requirements for software supporting a federal customer. The role focuses on requirements elicitation, documentation, and supporting Agile/Scrum ceremonies and artifacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and document business requirements for complex government software systems
- Perform business analysis to support project scope and objectives
- Facilitate meetings with subject matter experts and stakeholders to organize priorities
- Elicit and document functional requirements from product owners and business sponsors
- Develop and refine user stories, workflow diagrams, mockups, and technical specifications
Technical Overview
You will support requirement discovery and documentation for complex government software systems, producing deliverables such as Concept of Operations, Business Case, and Alternatives Analysis. Work includes developing user stories and workflow diagrams and partnering with developers to refine mockups and technical specifications.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Business Analyst with 6+ years supporting software development by eliciting and documenting business requirements and functional requirements for government systems. They have strong technical writing skills, experience with Agile/Scrum and sprint ceremonies, and can produce deliverables like Concept of Operations, Business Case, and Alternatives Analysis.
