About this role
This Business Analyst role supports the We Energies Very Large Customer (VLC) tariff and contract lifecycle management. The analyst performs tariff/rate/pricing analysis, produces reports for leadership, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- support VLC tariff origination and administration
- manage VLC contracts lifecycle including amendments, renewals, and dispute resolution
- analyze tariffs, rate schedules, and pricing structures
- administer VLC electric transmission and distribution system planning and operational impact
- develop documentation and maintain leadership reporting on cost and schedule
Technical Overview
The technical scope centers on regulated market analysis, including tariffs, rate schedules, pricing structures, and transmission/distribution planning impacts. It also includes analytical work on complex data and creation of functional/process/system documentation to support stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level to early career business analyst with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. They have strong tariff/contract analysis skills, can work with regulated-market concepts (rate schedules and pricing structures), and are comfortable producing documentation and leadership reporting.
