About this role
The Business Analyst/Scrum Master will gather and translate stakeholder requirements into user stories and supporting business documentation for agile development. The role also facilitates Scrum ceremonies, maintains Jira Agile tracking for backlog transparency, and supports low code application work using Microsoft PowerApps and SharePoint for the EPA.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and translate business/user requirements into stories
- Create business documentation including Change Requests and defect documentation
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily stand-up, demos, retrospectives)
- Groom and prioritize the product backlog and manage velocity tracking
- Update Jira Agile tracking systems and support low code development via PowerApps/SharePoint
Technical Overview
This position supports agile delivery for low code application development elaboration within an OIT environment, including documentation and requirement integration for development and testing teams. Core tooling includes Jira Agile tracking and low code platforms such as Microsoft PowerApps and SharePoint.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Business Analyst/Scrum Master who can elicit business requirements, convert them into user stories with acceptance criteria, and groom a prioritized product backlog. They are experienced facilitating Scrum ceremonies, tracking velocity and sprint progress, and working with Jira Agile, including supporting low code solutions built with Microsoft PowerApps and SharePoint.
