Position Details
About this role
The Business Development Associate will pursue and generate new business leads, identify points of contact within prospective customers, and nurture leads into opportunities. They will conduct research, perform cold outreach, and collaborate with marketing to move prospects through the sales cycle in a medical device B2B environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential customers using prospecting databases, social media, networking, tradeshow and other methods
- Qualify/disqualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to drive new opportunities and vigorously pursue initial customer contacts and meetings
- Effectively sell Viant’s capability and service offerings to prospective customers
- Regularly update and maintain leads in Salesforce/CRM
Technical Overview
Role relies on CRM-driven prospecting and lead management with Salesforce and ZoomInfo; requires ability to build dashboards and present to leadership using PowerPoint.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a driven entry-level business development professional with 1-3 years of sales/prospecting experience, CRM proficiency (Salesforce/ZoomInfo), and a history of building relationships in a B2B/medical device environment.
