Founding Business Development & Strategy leader to drive enterprise BD, partnerships, and fundraising for Buildfunctions. This equity-based role partners with the CEO to shape GTM, investor narratives, and market expansion in AI infrastructure.

  • Own business development and strategic growth initiatives alongside the CEO, including enterprise sales, fundraising support, strategic partnerships, and market expansion
  • Help shape go-to-market strategy and category positioning around infrastructure for AI agents
  • Build and manage relationships with enterprise customers, design partners, investors, and ecosystem partners
  • Support fundraising through investor research, pitch delivery, and narrative refinement
  • Represent Buildfunctions externally across customer conversations, investor meetings, partnership discussions, and industry events

Role requires translating complex AI infrastructure capabilities for investors, partners, and customers; operates in an early-stage startup with strategic, cross-functional collaboration and a focus on long-term commercial growth.

The ideal candidate is a senior executive with a proven track record in enterprise BD, fundraising, and strategic partnerships within early-stage AI infrastructure, able to translate highly technical differentiators into clear business value. They bring founder-level ownership, a strong network in AI/cloud/developer tools, and the ability to drive GTM with investors and customers alike.
