Cabinet Engineer responsible for designing and delivering high-quality electrical control cabinets with complete documentation, CAD modeling, and BOM development, in a hybrid work environment near Minden, NV.

Key Responsibilities

Create electrical cabinet designs with documentation
Use CAD tools to produce/review drawings
Ensure compliance with standards
Develop BOMs
Update project status and estimates

Technical Overview

Electrical cabinet design using EPLAN and MicroStation; 3D CAD with SolidWorks/Ansys; compliance with ASME and related standards; BOM and component specification.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-level mechanical/electrical cabinet engineer with a Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent experience, strong CAD proficiency (EPLAN, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Ansys), and familiarity with ASME codes, rotating machinery, and BOM development.
