Architect I based in Detroit, MI, early-career role focusing on architectural drawing and community development initiatives with a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Perform basic architectural/engineering calculations to support project designs
Prepare specifications, reports, and related data tables
Maintain liaison with design and drafting groups
Prepare, review, and approve drawings
Assist in training and evaluation of architectural and design/drafting personnel

Technical Overview

Proficiency in Revit and design tools (SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite) to develop architectural drawings and construction documents; participate in community development projects.

Ideal Candidate

An entry-level architect with strong proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite, with interest in community development and Detroit-focused projects.
