Cardiac Cath Lab Technician (RCIS) PRN role supporting interventional cardiology procedures in the Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center cath lab.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Prepare and maintain the cath lab environment
- Operate hemodynamic monitoring systems
- Scrub, circulates, and monitors cases
- Administer contrast media and medications as directed
Technical Overview
Focus on cardiovascular interventional procedures, RCIS-certified cath lab operations, hemodynamic monitoring, radiation safety, sterile technique, and EMR documentation with on-call duties.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an RCIS-certified cath lab technologist with 2+ years in an interventional cath lab, strong hemodynamic monitoring, radiation safety, and sterile technique skills, and an associate degree in cardiovascular technology or radiologic technology.
