About this role
This role owns the commercial strategy for global Business Services categories in Indirect Procurement. You will develop multi-year category roadmaps, run value-based sourcing events, and lead contracting and supplier reviews to optimize spend and protect the bottom line.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 3-year category roadmaps using market intelligence
- Optimize the supply base and mitigate single-source risk
- Build should-cost models to inform negotiations
- Execute advanced Value-Based RFPs (RFx) focused on outcomes and KPIs
- Partner with Legal on Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) including SLAs and continuous improvement
Technical Overview
The technical scope is procurement-focused: value-based RFx execution, should-cost modeling, and contract/SLAs engineering. The role emphasizes data-driven negotiation, KPI-based RFP design, and supplier performance management via Strategic Business Reviews (SBRs).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced Category Manager for Indirect Procurement with a strong track record building category strategy and multi-year roadmaps (3-year category roadmaps). They can execute advanced RFx and design Value-Based RFPs, backed by should-cost modeling and contract expertise (Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and SLAs).
