Category Manager for Services in the Global Procurement Organization develops category sourcing strategies, negotiates with suppliers, and drives savings and sustainability across Amazon's services categories.

Key Responsibilities

Establish category sourcing strategies, lead cross-functional strategic sourcing teams, negotiate with suppliers and execute contracts to optimize Amazon's competitive position
Drive relationships with category suppliers to meet business goals with continuous improvement and benchmarks
Manage category suppliers to identify and optimize opportunities
Act as a market intelligence provider regarding categories; anticipate strategic opportunities and keep stakeholders informed
Drive supplier relationship management to mitigate risk and add value
