About this role
This role oversees incident investigation and learning processes to determine root causes and drive continuous improvement at the facility. The focal point leads local implementation of standards, ensures corrective actions are tracked, and supports training and steering team activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead local implementation and assurance of the OEMS Investigation and Learning Standard
- Conduct investigations to determine root cause(s) of accidents, incidents, and near misses
- Track corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Update Enablon and maintain accurate records/documentation
- Facilitate CL/LFI Steering Team and analyze Power BI metrics
Technical Overview
Responsibilities include conducting thorough investigations, analyzing incident data, and maintaining documentation using Enablon and SharePoint systems. The role also reviews Power BI metrics to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a safety/operations improvement professional with 5–10 years of experience leading incident investigations and performing root cause analysis. They have strong skills in data gathering and corrective action tracking, with hands-on experience using Enablon and reporting metrics via Power BI.
