Drive and safely transport petroleum products and related materials to company and customer sites, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations. Handle loading/unloading, maintain required driver logs, and follow strict safety procedures in a safety-sensitive field role.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive and maneuver commercial vehicles to deliver petroleum products and finished goods
- Perform pre- and post-trip equipment inspections and submit truck condition reports
- Maintain personal logs (ICC, CSA) in accordance with DOT regulations
- Load and unload trucks using forklift and tank transfer procedures (hoses, valves, pumps)
- Follow HAZMAT and emergency spill containment and response requirements
Technical Overview
The role requires commercial driving expertise (CDL-A with Tanker endorsement) and DOT log compliance, including ICC and CSA logs. Responsibilities include tank fill/empty operations (hoses/valves/pumps), QC-based purging and sampling, and safe use of equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and lift gates.

The ideal candidate is a CDL-A driver with a clean Motor Vehicle Record and Tanker endorsement, who can operate safely in a petroleum refinery/warehouse environment. They are comfortable handling DOT-compliant logs (ICC/CSA), loading and unloading using equipment like forklifts, pumps, and lift gates, and managing HAZMAT and emergency spill containment readiness.
