About this role
This role is a safety-sensitive CDL driving position transporting petroleum products and other regulated liquids to company and customer locations. The driver inspects equipment, maintains DOT-compliant logs, performs compliant loading and unloading, and supports safe hazardous materials spill containment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive and maneuver commercial vehicles to customer sites
- Maintain DOT-compliant personal logs (ICC, CSA)
- Inspect truck condition and complete required reports
- Perform loading/unloading including forklift, hoses, valves, and pumps
- Support HAZMAT/emergency spill containment and response
Technical Overview
The work focuses on commercial bulk transport operations under DOT regulations, including ICC/CSA log maintenance, tank/valve/pump/hose operations, and quality sampling/purging aligned to QC standards. It also includes safe operation of warehouse equipment such as forklift, crane, and lift gate.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a CDL Class A driver with Tanker endorsement and experience transporting petroleum products and other regulated materials while following DOT regulations. They have clean driving history, can pass a driver proficiency assessment, and are confident handling loading/unloading, bulk hose and pump operations, and hazardous spill containment procedures.
