Certification Staff Engineer provides regulatory leadership and certification execution for Bell aircraft and systems, interfacing with FAA and foreign authorities and ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead development of certification strategies; provide interpretation of FAA regulations; support certification basis and special conditions; guide teams in means of compliance and compliance demonstration; supervise ODA responsibilities; regulatory engagement; maintain program schedules

Technical Overview

Strong program management, certification strategy development, ODA oversight, budgeting and forecasting; Proficient with FAA regulations and regulatory approvals; MS Project/Power BI/Primavera P6.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an experienced certification engineer with 16+ years in aerospace/defense, expert in FAA Part 21/23/25/27/29, ODA experience, and strong project management and regulatory liaison skills.
