About this role
This role is a Charge Nurse position responsible for shift accountability for planning and delivering nursing care. The RN coordinates multidisciplinary team activities, leads nursing staff, and ensures compliance with safety standards and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume shift responsibility and accountability for direct and indirect nursing care
- Develop, implement, and evaluate an age-appropriate plan of care using the nursing process
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary team members and direct/facilitate nursing staff for safe outcomes
- Assess patient safety risks and implement appropriate precautions per approved standards
- Maintain leadership excellence with delegation, feedback, and accountability for staffing
