About this role
Lead and execute Mechanical and Piping engineering projects under limited supervision, ensuring timely delivery and accurate design work. You will perform detailed design, prepare technical documentation, conduct design reviews, evaluate vendor proposals, and support construction and commissioning with technical problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, manage, and execute engineering projects and programs
- Perform detailed engineering design (calculations, drawings, specifications)
- Develop technical documentation and reports
- Conduct design reviews and evaluate vendor proposals for code/standard compliance
- Assist with technical issues during construction and commissioning and continuously improve design processes
Technical Overview
This role focuses on Mechanical and Piping engineering design using modeling and simulation/analysis tools, producing deliverables such as PIDs, PFDs, isometrics/orthographic drawings, datasheets, BOMs, and EWPs. It includes Caesar analysis to interpret results and develop recommendations, plus scheduling and scoping support using P6.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Mechanical Engineering professional with 7+ years of engineering experience, including lead or supervisory experience, delivering Mechanical and Piping design work. They can run engineering projects end-to-end—planning, design, reviews, documentation, and resolving construction/commissioning issues—while producing PIDs, PFDs, isometrics, BOMs, and EWPs.
