About this role
Lead and manage Freeport-McMoRan site environmental programs under limited supervision. Oversee compliance, remediation, reclamation, air quality practices, regulatory training, vendor contracts, and incident records.

Technical Overview
The role focuses on environmental engineering/science execution: air quality compliance, permitting, remediation and reclamation program management, contract oversight, and maintaining records aligned with Federal/State/local environmental and occupational health regulations including CERCLA, RCRA, TOSCA, SARA, CWA, and EPCRA.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Chief Environmental Engineer/Scientist with hands-on leadership of environmental programs across a complex industrial site, including air quality compliance, permitting, remediation, and reclamation. They have strong working knowledge of Federal, State, and local environmental regulations (including CERCLA, RCRA, TOSCA, SARA, CWA, and EPCRA) and can oversee EPA/DEQ-mandated training and vendor contracts.
