About this role
Lead DentaSmart.ai’s dental insurance and payer partnership strategy to turn partnerships into a core revenue engine. The role starts as a part-time/fractional executive position with meaningful equity and is expected to evolve into a full-time Chief Revenue role as revenue scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead dental insurance and payer partnership strategy
- Build senior relationships with dental insurance carriers, dental benefit administrators, and TPAs
- Own partnership lifecycle from strategy and outreach through negotiation, pilot design, launch, and expansion
- Structure partnership models (member engagement, preventive navigation, AI second reviews, cost transparency)
- Collaborate to define payer value proposition around member experience and reduced friction
Technical Overview
This role focuses on commercial strategy and execution for payer partnerships rather than technical implementation. It includes structuring partnership models such as member education, preventive navigation, AI-powered second reviews, and cost-transparency tools, then driving the lifecycle from outreach and negotiation through pilots, launches, and expansion.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an executive commercial leader with 10+ years of dental insurance industry experience and established relationships across dental insurance companies, dental benefit organizations, and TPAs. They have owned payer partnership strategy end-to-end, including outreach, negotiation, pilot design, launch, and expansion, and are comfortable operating initially as a part-time/fractional role with equity.
