Key Responsibilities
- Apply civil and structural engineering to assess existing structures (stacks, cooling towers, etc.)
- Utilize non-destructive testing and digital twins
- Identify and mitigate risks from structural failures
- Document assessments and solutions for future reference
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to address structural integrity challenges
Technical Overview
Apply civil/structural engineering expertise to assess a range of structures, utilize NDT, digital twins, and predictive analytics; ensure compliance with API RP, AISC, ASCE, and other standards; lead field evaluations, brownfield modifications, and fitness-for-service assessments.
Ideal Candidate
An experienced civil/structural engineer with 3+ years in oil and gas, capable of managing structural integrity risk and applying advanced inspection tech.
Must-Have Skills
Bachelor's degree or master's degree in civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum GPA of 7.0Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural engineering and integrity management within the oil and gas industryHands-on site experienceExperience in managing engineering design and brownfield modificationsProficiency in fitness-for-service assessments based on current structural conditions
