Civil/Structural Integrity Engineer responsible for ensuring safety and longevity of onshore and offshore structures in the oil and gas sector. Applies integrity management principles, uses advanced inspection technologies, and leads cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply civil/structural engineering expertise to assess structures
- Use NDT, digital twins, and analytics
- Identify and mitigate risks
- Ensure compliance with standards
- Lead multidisciplinary teams
Technical Overview
Work includes structural analysis and design using SACS, STAAD Pro, Mat 3D, CAP; familiarity with API RP 2 SIM/2A, AISC-360, ASCE 7, ACI 318; AWS D1.1; non-destructive testing, digital twins, and fitness-for-service assessments.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level civil/structural engineer with at least 3 years of oil and gas experience, strong knowledge of structural integrity management, and hands-on use of advanced analysis tools.
