Serve as a front-line Data Center Engineering Operations Technician responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining critical electrical and mechanical equipment. The role requires 24/7 shift coverage, use of CMMS for work management, and strict adherence to safety and physical security procedures under an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

  • Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment including emergency generators
  • Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks including filter changes and HVAC PMs
  • Take daily operational readings and perform root cause analysis of equipment failures
  • Use CMMS for workflows and supervise contractors while complying with safety and physical security procedures

You will troubleshoot facility and rack-level electrical/mechanical events, perform preventive maintenance (including filter changes and HVAC PMs), take daily readings of key equipment parameters, and execute tasks involving generators, UPS/PDUs, AHUs, pumps, motors, VFDs, and building automation systems. You will use CMMS for maintenance workflows and manage spare parts inventory, including contractor supervision and root cause analysis.

The ideal candidate is a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician (EOT) with hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience in data center environments. They can work rotating 24/7 shifts, use CMMS for maintenance workflows, perform preventive maintenance, and conduct root cause analysis—while maintaining an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
