About this role
Full-time Clinical Nurse Educator (RN) responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering staff orientation, education, and ongoing training to ensure clinical competency, quality care, and regulatory compliance. The role also leads infection prevention education and supports the infection prevention program to promote adherence to CDC guidelines and The Joint Commission standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver orientation and ongoing education for Behavioral Health staff
- Ensure completion of annual mandatory training and competency validation
- Lead infection prevention education and support the facility infection prevention program
- Monitor and report healthcare-associated infections and conduct infection prevention rounds
- Review and update policies and analyze training/compliance data in collaboration with leadership
