About this role
Stryker is hiring a Field-based Clinical Specialist for Joint Replacement in West Plains, Missouri. The role provides surgeon support in the OR by managing pre-operative CT-based planning, case preparation, and real-time workflows for both robotic (Mako SmartRobotics (TM)) and manual orthopedic procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain competency in solo case coverage for manual and robotic procedures
- Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning, implant sizing, and positioning using advanced software
- Support full case preparation, including instrumentation checks, equipment setup, and OR readiness
- Troubleshoot technical issues confidently and efficiently in the operating room
- Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays
Technical Overview
The position requires hands-on competency with robotic joint replacement workflows including CT-based planning, implant sizing, registration, and intra-operative support using Mako SmartRobotics (TM). It also includes manual procedure readiness via instrumentation checks, equipment setup, and OR protocol support, plus troubleshooting technical issues in the operating room.
