About this role
Cloud DEV SecOPS III at DMI for TSA projects; designs and implements secure, automated pipelines and CI/CD tooling across cloud-hosted systems, embedding security checks and compliance with FISMA and CDM. Requires US citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance; remote US-based.
Key Responsibilities
- Designs and implements CI/CD pipelines, automates security scanning and compliance checks
- Works across engineering and security to embed security as a mission enabler
- Designs secure deployment architectures for containerized workloads on Kubernetes and ECS
- Establishes monitoring and alerting for ongoing DHS CDM compliance
- Contributes to TSA cloud security baselines and hardening approaches
Technical Overview
Stack includes GitLab/Jenkins/GitHub Actions for CI/CD, container tech (Docker/Kubernetes/ECS), IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), and cloud security services with a focus on federal compliance and operational monitoring.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior cloud DevSecOps engineer with 6+ years in DevSecOps and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/Jenkins/GitHub Actions), Kubernetes, and IaC in federal environments, capable of delivering secure software and infra with Public Trust readiness.
